TVs for Veterans of Foreign Wars
2025
KingFisher Services donated five 85″ televisions to Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) posts across New York State. And the impact goes far beyond screen size. We believe technology should bring people together, not leave anyone behind. That’s why this initiative is about more than equipment… it’s about connection, inclusion, and community support.
Primary sponsor to ‘Dads and Dependents’
2018 – 2025
‘Dads and Dependents’, where we promote strong bonds with children and their fathers through camping, interactive activities, and outdoor events. The organization also selects a family-building charity to donate the proceeds to every year.
Veteran's grocery/utility bills
2022 – 2025
Provided over $14,000 to struggling veterans in support of grocery/utility bills.
Hometown Heroes
2023 – 2025
Assumed responsibility for the ‘Hometown Heroes’ Veteran Banner program for Scottdale, PA, after the original committee disbanded. Responsible for the procurement, installation, and sustainment of the banner program in the town where our headquarters is located, with the permission of the local borough.
Veteran Family High School Scholarship
2024 – 2025
Coordinated with veteran organizations in the community to create a local high school scholarship. Two graduating students from our local high schools that are children of veterans will receive $1,000 in support of their future training in a technical/trade school.
